The Simple Fact

Trust in God 
  
Jesus said, “Do not worry, saying “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:31-33) 
  
Obedience to God 

Jesus said, “If you love me, your will obey what I command.” (John 14:21) 
  
Jesus said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word God and obey it. (Luke 11:28) 
  
Jesus Said, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.  He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.” (John 15:10) 
  
Integrity 

Jesus said, “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 7:12) 
  
Humility 

Jesus said, “Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14) 
  
Jesus said, “Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4) 
  
Self- Denial 
  
Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.  What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?  Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26) 
  
Jesus Said, “A new command I give you: Love one Another.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34-35) 

Eternal Life 
  
Jesus said, “ I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24) 
  
Jesus Said, “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.  For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:39-40) 
  
  
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”  (John 11:25-26) 
  
  
Forgiveness 
  
Jesus Said, “But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons and daughters of your Father in heaven.  He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:44-45) 
  
Jesus Said, “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” (Matthew 6:14) 
  
Prayer 
  
Jesus Said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”  (Matthew21:22) 
  
  
Jesus said, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.  You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:13-14) 
  
Jesus Said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” (John 15:7) 
  
  
Peace 
  
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14-27)
